The southern state of North Carolina is one of the thirteen original colonies of the United States of America. It was the first American territory the English tried to colonize and was originally inhabited by native tribes such as the Cherokee, Creek, Tuscarora, Lumbee and Catawba. North Carolina land is still very much desired, even until today.

North Carolina’s real estate licensing program will soon be restructured thanks to the legislation signed by Governor Easley on September 14, 2005. In the new Real estate License Law, the licenses of sales persons will be converted to provisional broker licenses. In addition, not everybody can become sales persons or brokers. Those who wish to have a career in real estate are required to complete real estate education and have additional training and more field experience.

When one is planning to have real estate related transactions in North Carolina, one need only to fill up the applicable Real Estate Form.
