Professionals have references available at all times, so if you have a home builder that cannot or will not provide you with references, you will want to keep shopping. If the builder simply needs a day or two to get you a list of references that is no big deal, but if someone acts like it is a big deal or out of the ordinary you will want to keep looking for quality home builders that are willing to share their past projects.
